We are a Pacific Northwest apothecary where the rugged practicality of a butcher meets the quiet wisdom of the forest. Our philosophy is rooted in a sacred balance: the beauty that emerges from death, the rest found after labor, and the powerful harmony of the rugged and the delicate.

Our story is a continuation of my great-grandparents legacy. Sig was a butcher and Fairy sold him horseradish, creating a bond as strong as the work they shared. Their names and the horseradish flower that marks our logo are a tribute to our ancestral roots and the honest, hands-on craft they lived by. As an enthusiastic home butcher myself, I continue their tradition, crafting a skincare line that honors the beauty in sustenance and survival.

Based in Portland, Oregon, every jar of Sig & Fairy's is a testament to our core ingredients: Tallow and Black Seed Oil. Our dedication begins with our tallow which is sourced from a single, family-owned ranch in Southeastern Oregon, where free-range cattle roam the wild, almost terrestrial landscapes of the Steens Mountain and Alvord Desert. We render every batch by hand, with a reverence for the life that provides, and use a nose-to-tail philosophy that ensures nothing is wasted.

This dedication to quality and respect is complemented by the ancient wisdom of Black Seed Oil, a revered botanical that grounds our formulations. Together, these two core ingredients create a skincare line that is both a tribute to ancestral wisdom and a celebration of modern, handcrafted integrity.
